Chamonix & Mont Blanc

Anul acesta am terminat sezonul de iarna intr-un mod deosebit, prin locuri care deja imi sunt foarte dragi, acolo unde zapezile se mentin pentru tot timpul anului, unde frumosul te invaluie oriunde esti si unde oamenii, in marea lor majoritate, traiesc pentru ceea ce le ofera cel de deasupra lor: Muntele. Mont Blanc. Suntem la poalele muntelui pentru prima data la sfarsit de martie. Chamonix, capitala alpinismului nu este la fel de incarcat de flori precum vara si parca sunt mai putin turisti. Festivalul Alpin CAR

Se apropie primul sfarsit de saptamana al lunii noiembrie si se pare ca este vreme buna. Ma aflu in Busteni pentru ca anul acesta m-am hotarat sa ajut la organizarea Festivalului Alpin al CAR. Vineri dimineata pe la ora 6 intru in Caminul Alpin si iau micul dejun de unul singur. Ma uit pe fereastra si vad primele raze de soare peste claile jepilor. E clar ca nu voi sta in camin toata ziua asa ca ma decid sa urc pe Claia Mica. De pe poteca ce conduce spre cascada Urlatoarea ma orientez dreapta pe firul vaii seci dintre clai. [...]

Mihnea Prundeanu. Alpinist. Geographer. IFMGA Mountain Guide.

I love the mountains and the sports. I also love to travel, to discover the beauty of nature, to meet new people and learn about different cultures. My semi-nomadic lifestyle revolves around my family and my two passions: alpinism and geography, that have blended so well together. I believe that authentic alpinism means exploration, discovery of new ways of getting to the top, minimalist, fast and clean ascents and these are the values I try to reflect in my personal projects.

My passion for the mountains started when I was a child when I would often make small excursions around the city or go camping with the scouts. Since then I visited or guided expeditions in the Alps, Himalayas, Andes and other remote areas.
